此青花貫耳瓶甚為珍罕，並無其他相似例見諸記錄。萬歷皇帝酷愛宣德及成化兩朝瓷器，遂命景德鎮效而仿之，皆書萬歷款，此瓶即為萬歷仿宣德雛形之作。

        This blue - and - white bottle is very rare, and no other similar cases have been recorded. Emperor wanli was fond of xuande and chenghua porcelain, so he ordered jingdezhen to imitate it. All of them were written by wanli. This bottle is an embryonic work of wanli imitating xuande.
