漢鑒淵古，久為人所惜，文士研文讀銘，趙宋已有。此鏡飾博局紋，間綴瑞獸，作八乳，縱然外輪銘文意思未全，未減其珍。高古寶鑒，除博物館以外傳世例極罕，此鏡保存完整，且配木蓋原匣，殊為難得。
