本輯藏者出自華僑世家，十九世紀末父輩自粵移居南洋，以實業及貿易發跡，富甲一方。他五十年代負笈英倫，遊學歐洲，對中國藝術極感興趣，亦因生活條件優裕，未及弱冠，已於英歐拍賣行及古董店搜購古玩舊瓷。六十年代中至七十年代初，他輾轉於東南亞及港澳等地居住，並經友人及畫商之介，四處搜求書畫作品，範圍主涉近現代名家，不拘南北，京、滬、穗畫家皆為搜羅之列，如張大千、黃賓虹、溥儒、於非闇、鄧芬、黎雄才、高劍父等，不少源自星港兩地前輩收藏家舊藏。

        對其收藏，他甚為寶愛，近半世紀以來，一直妥善保存，鮮有示人，並有清單記錄來源及品評質量；與仲介之單據及往來書信，部份仍保留至今。藏品直至近期方漸次於英國及香港釋出，近現代畫部份去年秋在香港蘇富比面世，反應熱烈。今推出第二輯共廿四幀，其中渡海三家精品多幅，如張大千盛年工筆古典美人〈凝思〉、每幅構圖精妙之溥儒〈山光水色〉冊等；如廣東鄧芬寫予仇啟雲夫婿陳達明之六尺鉅幅〈松濤琴韻〉、嶺南諸家雅集時合寫，以少昂畫虎為主題之〈虎嘯秋風〉；以及海派名家吳昌碩、王一亭逸品多幅，蔚然大觀，足見其品味眼光！            

        This collection of tibetans comes from a family of overseas Chinese. In the late 19th century, their parents immigrated to nanyang from guangdong province. In the 1950s, he lost his fortune in England and studied in Europe. He was very interested in Chinese art. Due to the rich living conditions, he had not reached the weak crown. In the 60 s and seventy s, he and southeast Asia and Hong Kong and Macao and other places to live, and the friends and medium of art dealer, for painting and calligraphy works everywhere, the scope of the main stakeholders masters in modern times, whether the north and the south, Beijing, Shanghai and guangzhou painters are looking for, such as chang, huang, PuRu, in the dark, Deng Fen, Li Xiongcai, Gao Jianfu etc, many from Hong Kong senior collectors in old Tibet.
