李氏歿後,一直珍藏於家中。「文革」期間,李儒勉夫人寄存此幅於北京圖書館,免遭紅衛兵破壞,故畫上蓋有該館印鑑。動盪平息後,北京圖書館點檢倉庫,見畫之上款,遂鈐「註銷」印,發還李家。李氏後人後散居於中國內地及歐美,此畫亦於一九七九年底獲攜帶赴美,至九九年方釋出。

After Li’s death, he has been treasured at home. During the "Cultural Revolution", Mrs. Li Ruzhen deposited this piece in the Beijing Library, protected from the destruction of the Red Guards, so the painting was stamped with the museum. After the turmoil subsided, the Beijing Library checked the warehouse and saw the above paragraph, sui qian "deregistration" printed, and returned to Li. After the Li family descended in mainland China and Europe and the United States, the painting was also brought to the United States at the end of 1979 and released in 1999.
