宣德朝窯事興盛，創新燒制了壹批珍貴的青花大盌，如本品飾纏枝牡丹紋者，更為珍罕。此盌造形渾厚，器壁厚度近壹公分，胎體均勻，窯燒技術高超。這批青花大盌僅短暫見於宣德朝，稍瞬即竭，清朝未見續燒。此類青花大盌多繪單種或各類花卉、靈芝或雙龍紋，口沿下書「大明宣德年制」款，值得收藏。
